Resourceful Me Art Therapy

Resourceful Me Art Therapy is located on the traditional lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Six Nations of the Grand River, and many other Indigenous Peoples. This land was purchased by the British from the Mississaugas and promised to the Six Nations forever through the “Between the Lakes Purchase” (1782), the “Simcoe Patent, Treaty 4” (1793), and the “Haldimand Treaty” (1874). As a settler on this land, I thank the Indigenous Peoples who have cared for it. I am grateful to be here, and I commit to learning more about my role in reconciliation by listening to and learning from Indigenous voices. I acknowledge my privilege and power as I work with children, and I commit to honouring each child’s wisdom.
