In addition to individual art therapy services and caregiver consultation, Resourceful Me offers creative wellness workshops outside of the art therapy office in community spaces. The goal of each workshop is to explore how we can use creativity to support mental and emotional wellness in our everyday lives.
Wellness workshops are open to existing clients as well as those who have never tried art therapy. They may be for children, teenagers, caregivers, or children and caregivers.
Workshops are an opportunity to learn more about and “try” an art therapy approach to art making. Each workshop can stand alone as a one-off complete experience. They are usually based around a specific theme such as self-care or stress management.
What to expect
Workshops typically include some information about the theme, an art making component, some reflection time, and an opportunity to share about what participants have experienced. No artistic experience or talent is needed!
Workshops can be a starting point for clients who then choose to work one-on-one with the therapist. The cost and length of workshops varies depending on the location, the intended participants, and the theme.
